  • Being the Medeiros e Almeida House-Museum a space that was initially planned to be a residence it presents several architectonical obstacles, such as several flights of stairs that prevent visitors on wheelchairs to visit the upper floors. Visitors on wheelchairs have only access to the ground floor. The House-Museum is doing the best efforts to overcome these issues;

  • Folding portable stools and two wheelchairs are available at the Museum entrance for loan, free of charge;

  • Visitors with walking difficulties wanting to go upstairs, can ask for assistance from the Museum staff;

  • There is an accessible toilet located in the entrance area.
